Hi Everyone!

This is my first post and I've never done this before so bear with me!

It took me a little bit to figure out how to design my blog but once I did, I got it to look exactly how I wanted it to! Paisley is my favorite pattern, I love it in all colors. My best friend once painted me a picture of black and pink paisley and it's so beautiful. My favorite color is pink and I'm a very bright, cheerful person so I felt this pattern helped define me as a person.

I'm posting from work because my boyfriend and I are watching our niece this weekend and this is my only "break" She just turned one and she DOES NOT sit still. Her name is Kaylin and she's seriously awesome. I never knew I could love someone so much until I met her!

I hope to be able to incorporate her in to some of my writing this semester.
I don't have kids of my own and I'm super proud of her, so I'll probably annoy you with some pictures occasionally, we spend a lot of time with her.

I think when you're writing a blog it's important to be INTERESTING. I wouldn't want to read a blog about a bunch of boring occurrences. I know life isn't as exciting as a movie but even if you do something small, make it interesting! I also think including pictures is really fun AND important. Pictures allow readers to see a snapshot of your life during moments that are special to you!
